Very calm and with a great deal of empathy and humanity - well suited to the subject matter.
Your facilitation was excellent. What was also really amazing was allowing people to express negative emotions in the check ins without judgement, just observation. That is so unusual in our society that it felt really interesting to do it in a group setting.
I liked the relaxed friendliness of your style. It made me feel like we were having a chat rather than a lesson and therefore I felt comfortable to contribute to the sessions and ask questions. I really enjoyed the course – I wasn’t sure that I would, but I feel I came away with some strategies to better focus on the importance of events as they happen – thank you.
The teachings I found to be interesting and soothing to my soul and heart. In the moment of relaxation I felt serenity in my entire body. Loved your calmness and soft spoken voice.
The participant led approach worked well for me. It allowed me to feel through the mindfulness practices without having a set of expectations of what and how the experience should be. I also enjoyed hearing the experience of other participants, including how they approached their practice and dealt with challenges.
Creating a welcoming and inclusive space is definitely one of Arianna’s strengths and one of the most positive and memorable feelings experienced from the program.

Thank you for this; I found it a very calming and relaxing experience and miss the Thursday evening sessions. You were a very positive and relaxationable teacher who let the class get what they wanted out of things without losing control of the aims of a session.
The 'breathing' session 2 was best for me, in that I suddenly realised what it was all about. I have been back on that one several times, and often take time out to focus on my breathing, my home base, and shut out what’s going on in my brain for a while - and feel better for it of course!
I am naturally on the anxious side, I know that, and you’ve given me an ability to reduce that part of my life.
The course was helpful and left me with a lot of resources for further reading and with greater insight to this practise. You remained open and provided various avenues for interaction and reflection in the sessions as well as out. I must add that your email responses to my side questions were very detailed and thoughtful and left me more encouraged to be mindful. Thank you for everything.
Your smiling approach and soft voice was very soothing. I found the course interesting, and feel I could apply mindfulness to help me at certain difficult moments in my daily life.
At the beginning of the course I thought what you were saying was very close to yogic thought and technique, just a different approach. As the course carried on I realised it is different. I think it could produce practical benefits and wish I'd done it while I was married to help in my relationship!
The feedback after practice was really helpful, and interesting to hear how different everyone's experience was.
I also liked how you repeatedly stressed there was no right or wrong way to do it! That made it easier to let go.

I enjoyed listening to the teachings, and to Arianna's answers to each person's experience as it was done with kindness and compassion. It helped to create a safe environment and I did not feel judged.
I really liked the personal touch in the end with the poems! It felt like a sort of present that she was giving it to us at the end of a session.
Arianna is a good listener who makes time to check on everyone, and how a particular exercise went for them. A good amount of time is also given for questions. The voice was perfect for the class.
